RPM 72222 Rear Skid Plate FOR Traxxas Maxx
The RPM Rear Skid Plate for the Traxxas Maxx solves several issues. The primary modification implemented is the protection of the mounting screws. The stock design leaves these screws vulnerable to damage. Damage to the screws can damage the bulkheads, leading to costly and time-consuming repairs. By separating the skid ribs from the screw holes, this effectively shields the mounting screws from harm. Additionally, the skid ribs provide functional wear surfaces on the skid plate, adding wearability and longevity.
The RPM Rear Skid Plate for the Traxxas Maxx includes a third skid rib, while the stock version only has two. This extra rib enhances durability and abrasion resistance, reinforcing an already solid RPM component.
Tech Notes: The RPM Rear Skid Plate for the Traxxas Maxx replaces stock Traxxas #8944 (rear skid plate only).
